You must hold a current valid licence (either provisional or full) which must be produced on the first lesson.
You must also be able to read a number plate from a distance of 20.5 metres (67 feet) using your glasses if normally worn.
I am a fully qualified ADI on the Driving Standards Agency's (DSA) register of Approved Driving Instructors. I will adhere to the DSA's Code of Conduct. The training car supplied will be kept in
a roadworthy, safe and legal condition. It will be fully insured for the purpose of giving driving tuition. Lesson payments should be made at the end of each lesson. Unless you are doing a
course when payment should be made in full on the first day of the course.
All special offers apply to new students only, special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
You will need to give a minimum of 48 hours notice should you need to cancel a lesson. Any lessons cancelled after 48 hours must be paid for in full. No further lessons will be booked until this payment is received.
If after arriving at your nominated pick up point you are not there I will wait for 10 minutes. If after 10 minutes you have not made contact, the lesson will be abandoned and you will be required to pay for the lesson(s) in full. No further lessons will be booked until this payment is received.
Whilst every care will be taken to ensure pupils receive their lesson at the agreed time, it is to be noted that circumstances such as traffic, adverse weather, mechanical breakdown of the vehicle or any other cause outside of my control may result in the postponement of the lesson.
In these circumstances you will not be charged for your lesson and a new lesson will be arranged.
Pupils are not to take lessons under the influence of alcohol or drugs. I will stop the lesson if I suspect the pupil is not fit to drive and the lesson will be paid for in full. No further lessons will be booked until this payment is received.
If your test is cancelled by the DSA, I will still charge for the amount of hours booked. You will be able reclaim your expenses directly from the DSA as per their terms and conditions. If, on the grounds of safety and professional opinion, your driving standard is below the standard required, I will decline the use of the car for the driving test. This may result in you forfeiting your driving test fee. This is necessary to protect other road users, yourself and the car.
Increase in lesson prices will be communicated to pupils by way of letter giving one weeks notice.
